Fordite

Fordite is a marvelous gem that is both man-made and natural. It was created in the from the 40s to the 70s as automobiles were painted. Each coat of paint accumulated around the frames whereparts were held and on the spray guns themselves. Eventually the blobs of paint were knocked off and thrown into the trash--where they've been rescued by rock collectors over the years.
